Christmas lunches are, another year, the stars of the winter season. When organising a Christmas celebration one of the difficulties is choosing a Malaga restaurant during this time of the year where we can meet with our families, friends and colleagues in a relaxing atmosphere to toast and celebrate.

In Batik, our Malaga restaurant in the city centre, the most important thing is that your Christmas dinner is full of joy in the best company. We want you to try impressive flavours that will complete this perfect evening.
If you decide to organise your Christmas lunch with us you can choose among menus with unique and unforgettable dishes, as all innovations from our chef Mario Rosado and our kitchen team usually are. What’s more, each menu represents a distinctive symbol of Malaga, for instance the Gibralfaro menu with starters for sharing like the attractive Cous cous salad with feta, nuts, kalamata and tomato with harissa and basil or the tempting Vanilla pumpkin hummus with feta and candied pine nuts. Who doesn’t like a main course like the tasty Ox burger with truffles, edulis mushrooms and “red” cheese? Our mouth is already watering… To finish with, the dessert Cream tiramisú cup with coffee and almond will be as sweet as the entire menu.
Are you an art lover? If that’s the case, you have to try our Pompidou menu with starters like the Alcazaba mint-seasoned lamb pastries, the exotic Duck risotto with mushrooms and smoked scarmoza or the Pompano ceviche with green curry and locally grown avocado. A combination of the local gastronomy with different cultural touches.
For those of you who miss the summer nights, we have the perfect menu: Biznaga comes in a big way with an Asian mix like the “Vietnandalusian” rolls with Korean garlic king prawns as well as the Aburi salmon, wakame salad and candied edamame with wasabi. What an impressive selection of flavours! And there’s more, because you won’t be able to resist the Grilled hake with coconut-curry-citronella and two textures quinoa or the spectacular Grilled pork shoulder with boletus sauce and garlic potatoes with wild asparagus. It sounds great, right?
Following with the world of art, Picasso menu is such a delicacy: just reading starters like the Red tuna tartare with teriyaki, sriracha, citrus fruits and crunchy seaweed and the Foie micuit with disaronno, pear and cheese whets the appetite. Do you agree? Then you’re lucky, because you can choose between main courses like the Grilled tuna, piquillo peppers and garlic sauce with gochujang or the Segovian suckling pig lacquered with banana and papaya textures. You’ll enjoy traditional flavours mixed with exquisite ingredients from different cultures. Finish your meal with a delicious Hazelnut and almond coulant with raspberry sorbet and take your time afterwards.
Christmas celebrations are a classic and a great opportunity to be with family and friends. You can’t miss them! If you have decided a Malaga restaurant and it happens to be Batik, keep in mind that the minimum number of people is 8 and you have to choose one menu per group. Our recommendation? Book as soon as possible with 5 days in advance at least. After that, you’ll have to pay a 30 % of the total amount in advance by bank transfer. The remaining amount can be paid in cash, credit card and by bank transfer.
