Next 28 February is Andalusia’s Feast Day, do you already know what to do in Malaga on this special day? In our boutique hostel in Malaga we have the perfect plan to enjoy the flavour of this wonderful region in its purest form!
At Alcazaba Premium Hostel we pride ourselves on our home region and we have decided to pay tribute to Andalusia with one of its greatest treasures – gastronomy. Our restaurant Batik takes the colours of the Andalusian flag and is all decked out so you can enjoy our gastronomic days dedicated to Andalusia’s Feast Day. We will be celebrating it from 7 February until 5 March in our restaurant Batik.
Once again inside our hostel in downtown Malaga, our restaurant Batik takes its inspiration from the magic of our wonderful region to merge the best flavours of the essence of Andalusia. With this, our chef has created the succulent courses for these gastronomic days, selecting ingredients among the best products of Andalusia; not an easy task to do!
This time we have dedicated our tribute to the land, rather than sea: raisins, cheese, goat, asparagus, snails, turron… A careful selection of products with surprising combinations. Besides, our boutique hostel is located in downtown Malaga and, of course, we want to give this splendid province the starring role it deserves by choosing quality products typical from Malaga.
These special ingredients from Malaga are Payoyo cheese, from Villanueva del Rosario; porra antequerana, a delicious thicker version of gazpacho; the exquisite raisins of Malaga; Resolí, an artisan-made liqueur characteristic of Alfarnate, and our suckling goat salami. The suckling goat from Malaga is one of the best breeds of goats in all of Spain, and it was the first to obtain the certification seal of Native race granted by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food. A real luxury in our boutique hostel in Malaga!
But there’s more to it than that… We have also selected culinary delicacies from other provinces in Andalusia, such as the asparagus from Huetor Tajar (Granada) or the Spanish turron, delicious nougat typical from Estepa (Seville).
Find out what to do in Malaga and discover the taste of Andalusia enjoying creative fusions with the most delicious foods of our land. No need to go somewhere else in Malaga or look for other restaurants in the old town… You can find everything in our youth hostel in downtown Malaga at the very foot of Malaga’s Alcazaba, an unbeatable environment that will make you travel through time and space… Are you going to miss it?
See you at Batik from 27 February until 5 March. Contact us calling 952 22 10 45 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org and book now!
