Mario Rosado, the renowned chef at our youth hostel in Malaga have created a new menu specially for the summer with plenty of innovative and refreshing proposals, inspired by the magic and the delicious products of this season.
We feel very proud of our great success and this motivates us, along with our love for cooking and the fantastic variety of high quality local ingredients, to continuously renovate our Batik restaurant’s offer.
You will find nine new proposals in the summer menu at our hostel in downtown Malaga. We have reinvented typical Spanish cuisine dishes to give them a fresh touch... Steak Tartare with Sichuan pepper ice-cream or the traditional gazpacho with beetroot, mozzarella pearls, basil slush and black olive chips. A real explosion of taste and freshness!
And...for sweet teeth, some delicious desserts with fruit flavours such as our Chocolate and raspberry textures or the Amaretto soaked cake with watermelon and peach... Are you going to miss it?

Although Summer is coming to its end, we are getting ready to devour the new season, as our chef Mario Rosado is delighting us, once more, with a new menu proposal for Batik, our restaurant in Malaga. The end of summer does not mean all the fun is over!
Next 28 February is Andalusia’s Feast Day, where we commemorate and celebrate the singularity of our culture and idiosyncrasy. At Alcazaba Premium Hostel we have decided to pay tribute to our home region with one its most precious treasures - gastronomy. In order to do so, we have prepared some very special gastronomic days from 25 to 29 February to celebrate this occasion.
One of our most recent appearances was in Lo Mejor en Turismo y Gastronomía magazine (only in Spanish), including a full page featuring our hostel and our restaurant Batik on the fourth floor, which delights the locals and everyone who visits our facilities.
