The Málaga Gastronomy Festival, which this year presented its second edition, concluded last Sunday and received, during ten days, more than 35,000 people who enjoyed tasting wonderful gourmet dishes right in Málaga’s city centre.
Among the chefs who attended the event, there were leading names in Spanish cuisine, like Dani Garcia, Diego del Río or Álvaro Arbeloa, among many others, as well as our renowned chef Iván Bravo, head of our restaurant Batik, who also had a place in the Festival.
Our exotic restaurant Batik had a temporary booth in Plaza de la Marina and, among live music, show-cookings and diverse events, served delicious specialty tapas and haute cuisine between May 7th and 10th, with a great success in attendance and tasting.

Next 28 February is Andalusia’s Feast Day, where we commemorate and celebrate the singularity of our culture and idiosyncrasy. At Alcazaba Premium Hostel we have decided to pay tribute to our home region with one its most precious treasures - gastronomy. In order to do so, we have prepared some very special gastronomic days from 25 to 29 February to celebrate this occasion.
In such a special occasion, our boutique hostel located in Malaga downtown managed to create a magical atmosphere and to offer its guests an exquisite menu presented by our renowned chef Iván Bravo.
